So the alternative to folding socks is stuffing them in a drawer willy nilly and trying to match them every morning when I'm in a hurry. I'll stick to folding them

Nobody that isn’t retarded folds socks. You pair them together with the elastic on the top. Put the top inside of each other to pair them. Not fold them.
